The imagery that you choose to promote your products can really make or break your brand. It’s some thing you just can’t DIY, coming from someone who has tried. Having amazing branding and product photography really ensures your content is unique, fresh and sparks interest.

Tips to elevate your brand through professional imagery:

  • Remember you are your brand even if you have a product based business people want to know about you, what you are all about, where the product comes from- they love to know about the person not just the product…be sure to get in front of the camera and let them in on your story.

  • Invest in a subscription package with a photographer who you can trust to represent your brand to the same level you do. You get to choose your shoots on a monthly/quarterly basis or as frequently as you like- having a months worth of content in one shoot makes managing socials much easier.

  • Stay clear of stock imagery- most people can spot it a mile off

  • Re-use and repurpose your images- ensure you create images with your photographer that help tell the story of your brand or your message and feel free to recycle them for social media, blog posts, newsletters- not only are you being economical you are also repeating your message and providing consistent imagery.

  • Plan shoots to coordinate with restocks, launches and new content that you have planned so you are never stuck searching for an image when you realise it’s time to post

  • Stay purposeful with your imagery, choose your branding colours and think about the message you are conveying and really stay true to that.
